see the Holidays of 2023 to plan your trips
January 2023
Holidays are always a good opportunity to travel, aren't they? If it's a long one, even better. If you like to travel, it's time to start planning, because we'll have some great holidays in 2023! Take note of the dates of each holiday.
2023 Holidays in the 1st Semester
In the first half of 2023, we will have several holidays with 3 days to travel and the biggest holiday of the year, Carnival!
Carnival 2023 will be from February 18 to 22, and you can travel from the 17th (Friday) to the 22nd (Ash Wednesday).
The next holidays in 2023 will be in April, on Easter (from 07 to 09/04) and Tiradentes (on 21/04, which falls on a Friday). In both cases, it will be possible to combine the weekend and travel for up to 3 days.
In May, we have the World Labor Day holiday falling on a Monday (01/05), so you can also take the weekend off to travel.
Finally, the Corpus Christi holiday will be on June 8, falling on a Thursday. So, with Friday off, there are 4 days to travel!
2023 holidays in the 2nd semester
For those who thought the 1st semester holidays were good, the 2nd semester is even better, with several holidays with 4 days to travel!
This is the case with Brazil's Independence Day, on 07/09, which falls on a Thursday. In October, Our Lady of Aparecida, on 12/12, will also fall on a Thursday, so you can combine Friday and the weekend to travel.
And in November we'll also have the All Souls' Day (November 2nd) on a Thursday! In other words: 3 holidays in a row with 4 days to travel!
To finish off the year, we'll have another holiday in November, on the 15/11 Proclamation of the Republic, on a Wednesday, and then Christmas in December, falling on a Monday. In other words, by the end of the year we'll have a Christmas holiday to fit in with the weekend!
